AFDA ( Anaimudi Forest Development Agency ) is the apex body of all Eco development and eco tourism activities of Munnar Wildlife division having 28 Eco development committees in 3 Ranges . AFDA provides sustainable livilhood means to more than 300 families,especially ethnic people, empowering their economic and socio cultural status. Other than providing sustainable livilhood to forest dependent communities , AFDA is engaged in outreach activities even outside its jurisdiction , thereby envisage the visions of social and ecological uplift and equality. It has spread its roots deep into environmental conservation , education, health , research , charity , social uplift , food security , job security and forest protection aspects.
